Open Access Policy

JIRRS provides immediate open access to all published content. Articles are freely available to read, download, copy, distribute, and use, provided proper attribution is given.

The journal adopts an open-access model to promote the global dissemination and accessibility of scientific knowledge.

Article Processing Charges (APC) Policy

The Journal International Review of Research Studies (JIRRS) operates under a transparent and sustainable open-access publishing model.

In order to cover essential operational costs associated with scholarly publishing — including website hosting, digital preservation, indexing services, editorial management systems, and the assignment and maintenance of Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) — the journal applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) to accepted manuscripts.

APC Structure

  • The APC is charged only after manuscript acceptance.

  • No fees are charged for submission, peer review, or editorial evaluation.

  • The APC amount is clearly communicated to authors prior to publication.

APC Waivers and Free Publication Quota

JIRRS is committed to promoting equitable access to scholarly communication. For this reason, the journal maintains a limited quota of articles eligible for APC waivers.

Full or partial APC waivers may be granted in the following situations:

  • Articles selected by the editorial team for their outstanding academic quality or relevance

  • Submissions from authors without institutional or funding support

  • Invited contributions or special editorial initiatives

The availability of APC waivers is subject to editorial discretion and is limited per issue and publication cycle.

Transparency and Ethics

The APC policy does not influence editorial decisions. All manuscripts are evaluated exclusively on their academic merit, originality, and methodological rigor. Payment of APCs has no impact on the peer-review process or editorial outcomes.
