Roadmap to ISSN Assignment (Brazil)

Phase 1 — Editorial Consolidation (Completed)

  • Appointment and public disclosure of the Editor-in-Chief and editorial leadership.

  • Publication of a complete Editorial Board with affiliations and countries.

  • Definition and public display of the continuous publication model.

  • Publication of peer-reviewed scholarly articles.

  • Public availability of editorial policies and journal information.

Phase 2 — Application Preparation (Completed)

  • Compilation of evidence of published content with stable URLs.

  • Documentation of the publication continuity model.

  • Confirmation of a stable journal title, URL, and website structure.

  • Identification of the primary contact person for ISSN correspondence.

Phase 3 — ISSN Submission (Pending)

  • Submission of the ISSN request to the ISSN Brazil Centre (IBICT).

  • Prompt response to any requests for clarification or additional documentation.

  • Upon assignment, prominent display of the ISSN on the website and in article metadata.


Post-ISSN Assignment Plan
