Author Guidelines

The Journal International Review of Research Studies (JIRRS) welcomes original, high-quality manuscripts that contribute to scientific and scholarly advancement across a broad range of disciplines.

Types of submissions

JIRRS accepts:

  • Original research articles

  • Review articles (systematic or narrative, when methodologically sound)

  • Theoretical and conceptual papers

  • Methodological and applied studies

Manuscript preparation

Manuscripts should be written in clear, academic English and organized with the following structure, where applicable:

  • Title

  • Abstract

  • Keywords

  • Introduction

  • Methods / Materials

  • Results

  • Discussion

  • Conclusions

  • References

Tables and figures must be numbered consecutively, include descriptive captions, and be cited in the text.

Formatting and references

There is no strict formatting template at the submission stage; however, manuscripts must follow consistent academic standards. References should be complete, accurate, and formatted consistently throughout the manuscript. Authors may use internationally recognized citation styles (e.g., APA, Vancouver, Harvard), provided consistency is maintained.

Ethical considerations

Authors are responsible for ensuring that their work complies with ethical standards applicable to their field. Studies involving human participants or animals must indicate approval by an appropriate ethics committee, when required.

Submission Preparation Checklist

Before proceeding, please confirm that:

  • The manuscript is original and has not been published or submitted elsewhere

  • The submission fits the aims and scope of JIRRS

  • All authors have approved the submission and agree with the authorship order

  • The manuscript follows basic academic writing and referencing standards

  • Tables and figures are properly labeled and cited

  • Ethical approval and informed consent were obtained when applicable

  • All required files have been prepared for upload
