This study explored the implication of knowledge management on the performance of retail pharmaceutical firms in Nigeria. Knowledge management was represented with knowledge creation, knowledge storage, knowledge transfer, and knowledge application. The performance of retail pharmaceutical enterprises was measured with employees’ satisfaction of job and competitive advantage. The study was rooted on the premise of knowledge-based theory. The research method used for this study was quantitative. 400 respondents (business owners, employers, and employees) provided primary data through electronic questionnaire form. This study found that the majority of responders were female, and they were dissatisfied with the compensation received, but they are unwilling to quit their jobs. Structural equation modeling was employed in the study, and found that knowledge creation, knowledge storage, knowledge transfer, and knowledge application influenced business performance. The study also discovered that the two knowledge management practices that had the greatest impact on the financial success of Nigerian retail pharmaceutical companies were knowledge transfer and knowledge storage. It was recommended that retail pharmaceutical companies in Nigeria should be cognizance of improving their knowledge management practices so as to achieve company success. It was suggested that future research be done to compare the findings of this study with knowledge management and company performance in other developing nations.
